There are three ways to join the Student Senate. You can join our internship program, apply for an appointed position, or you can run for an elected position in the Spring.
The Internship Program is a way for students who have never participated in the Ohio University Student Senate to learn and get involved with our student government. The program is designed for you to learn about Senate processes and procedure while taking an active role in Senate activities. You will spend at least two hours each work learning about who we are and how and why we do what we do. The program is utilized exceptionally well by underclassmen, but upperclassmen are certainly welcome to apply. If you are interested in being an intern for the Student Senate, please fill out the application below.
